Families, Children and Young People
At the Junee Community Centre, we want to support families through all stages of their journey. We aim to offer various types of support to the growing families in our region.
Junee and the surrounding area has so much to offer families: a diverse and inclusive community, a slower pace of life, and access to all the great opportunities a regional lifestyle has to offer.
We recognise that families are an integral part of the fabric of our community. Families contribute to both the Shire’s present, and its future growth. At the Junee Community Centre, we want to support families through all stages of their journey. We aim to offer various types of support to the growing families in our region.
We also recognise that raising a family can be both one of the most rewarding, but also one of the most challenging, of life’s experiences. Unexpected challenges – such as changes that may come about from an illness or accident, a disability or other diagnosis, or a change in an employment or living situation – can have a huge impact on the day to day quality of family life.
At times such as these, Junee Community Centre can offer advice and referral to services that will be able to help. We can also speak to other agencies and services on your behalf, to ensure you get the help you need.
